The Austin Chicken Wing Festival is a labor of love, organized by three friends who share the same passion for finger-licking food, producing memorable festival experiences, and investing in the Austin community.
The 2018 Austin Chicken Wing Festival will take place on Sunday, May 20 from 1 to 5 p.m. (VIP entry at noon) at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts located at 6020 Dillard Circle, Austin, TX 78752 (near ACC Highland Campus). The Festival sold out in less than a week in 2017, so this year we’ve upgraded to a larger site to feature more restaurants and provide more tickets to wing lovers.
The Festival will feature unlimited wing tastings (while supplies last) from nearly 20 of Austin’s top restaurants that will be competing for “Best Chicken Wings” and “Best Chicken Wing Inspired Dish”. There will also be a flaming hot chicken wing-eating contest for 10 brave contestants who will take center stage alongside a panel of noteworthy food influencer judges.
We are deeply grateful to our vendors, sponsors, the Austin Community and our gracious hosts – the Augustine Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. A portion of the ticket proceeds will fund a student scholarship at the Escoffier School.

Is the event kid friendly?
Yes! This event is open to all ages. However, children over the age of 3 will need a ticket to enter the Festival.
Is the event pet friendly?
We love dogs (and cats), but they are not welcome at the Austin Chicken Wing Festival.
What is your refund policy?
This event will occur rain or shine. We unfortunately cannot accommodate refunds.
Are there really unlimited wings?
Our vendors are planning to bring a large number of wings and we certainly won't be regulating how many you eat (the more the better!). However, the "unlimited wing tastings" are subject to our vendors' supplies.
